U-Turns: Revolution Kitchen – VT
This week’s Meatless Monday destination takes us to Revolution Kitchen in Burlington, Vermont for sensational vegetarian dining – but make it Meatless Tuesday- they are closed Mondays. From the moment you enter, you’ll be greeted by mouth watering, rich aromas wafting from the open kitchen. Every sensation will let you know you are in for something seriously special.
Emphasizing local and organic foods, the menu at Revolution Kitchen changes regularly depending on seasonal availability. Daily specials transform fresh ingredients into tasty innovations, adding variety and creativity to their outstanding selections. Revolution Kitchen also has a very vegan friendly menu and plenty of clearly labeled GF options, so everyone can enjoy fine dining.
The spicy, Laksa Noodle Pot remains a favorite; this hearty rice noodle soup is loaded with veggies and tofu and served in a fragrant coconut broth. The delightful seitan picatta cutlets are served with sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes in a delicate, lemon white wine caper sauce. One taste and you’ll know that the folks at Revolution are culinary experts in craft. Their years of experience bring world class vegetarian cuisine to Vermont with delicious, inspired dishes and gorgeous presentations.
You won’t want to miss the house made dessert menu, either. There is plenty to choose from for vegans and gluten free diners too, that will offer a sweet finish to an exquisite meal.
Take your friends and family, and introduce them to amazing veg options- because at Revolution, evolved eating is all about love, and the passion for exceptional flavors is evident in every bite. Open for dinner hours Tuesday through Saturdays, Revolution Kitchen is in the heart of Burlington. If everyone knew vegetarian dining could be this amazing, we’re pretty sure it would lead to a lot of kitchen evolution!
About U-Turns
Though one recent poll suggests there are more than 7 million vegetarians/vegans in the U.S., it’s easy to feel isolated when you’re part of (roughly) 7% of the population. One recent report revealed that “a large majority of former vegetarians/vegans (63%) said that they disliked that their diet made them stick out from the crowd.” That inspired CLAWtheory to give a big thanks to the awesome people, places, and products we’ve discovered who make veg life better, and U-Turns was born.
