- No Hot Dogs: Never leave your friend in an unattended car on a hot day! Even with cooling methods and access to water, cars become dangerously hot very quickly.
Remember, your canine pal wears a fur coat! Cooling methods only do so much, and heatstroke and dehydration can be lethal. Pay attention to any warning signs of dehydration (skin lacks elasticity, lethargy) and heatstroke (panting, salivating, staggering). Your dog’s life depends on it, so keep your forever friend safe and cool all summer long.
